This painting is dedicated to Hope, Rebirth and Love, awaiting Peace on Earth. It is just as relevant today as it was when I painted it, after two particularly traumatic events: the Beirut Port blast in on August 4th 2020, and the 40 day war against Artsakh in fall 2020. One year later, the world faces yet another major trauma, this time in the heart of Europe. Peace, Love and Goodwill shall prevail. Mamig and Dadig help us heal the sick and wounded, remember the fallen, and give us hope for good sense and respect for all of life to flourish.
