Hidegard represents the divine feminine in all forms as a writer, composer of sacred music, mystic, visionary and healer. She spoke to me of releasing fear and embracing my creativity in all forms--painting, creating sculpture and writing. The feather appeared on the canvas to represents her as a writer. The ladies in the background represent the nuns who witnessed her miracles of healing by her use of herbs that the nuns gathered around the Abbey. I felt that she wrapped in the folds of her robes to help in my spiritual and physical healing.
