After completing my first Red Madonna painting I started on this painting. I was motivated by all I had learned from the Red Madonna journey with Shiloh. (Glazing? Thank you!) This painting was also influenced by the theme of growth gained by a simultaneous journey in Productive Creativity with Amber Kuileimailani Bonnici. The painting name, The Warrior Queen, comes from lessons learned in that course, melded with the painting instruction and creative inspiration gained through my recent Red Madonna journey. So much wealth of inspiration, instruction, and love from these two teachers. The two women also did an online course together at this time which I also attended. Being part of the Red Madonna circle, the Productive Creativity circle, and the Red Thread circle is a critical part of my everyday experience and certainly the driving force behind my creative endeavors. The Warrior Queen tells me that I have to assume the Warrior role and keep fighting and working in order to enjoy the Queen role that I feel from creativity.
