Om Shri Maria Magdalena Yei Namaha. Magdalena is my Ishata Devi she is my North Star and my Souls essence.. She is the Quintessential Divine Christed Holy Woman. I have been intimately devoted to her for over 22 years, In reality all my life. This is a very intimate painting as I feel she comes alive through my own lens and devotion to her. I have prayed and chanted for many hours to Maria Magdalena. This painting is Blessed with my own Devotional prayers and ancient chantings from Aramaic., and Sanskrit. Blessed with offerings of Candlelight, incense, essential oils , fresh flowers and lots of Love and reverence to her. She holds me in her loving embrace of her Red Roses veil Om Jai Ma Our Lady Ma. Through Shiloh painting process I have learned to dive deep with her to trust and not be afraid when she dives into the darkness. I have learnt to call her through to bring her into form and to celebrate her human form. Painting is such a heavenly process, I am so in love with devotional art and where it takes me soaring and swooning. Thank you Shiloh Sophia for the ed Madonna sisterhood, long may it continue, Jai Ma.
